pakistan's entertainment industry includes more sections than just lollywood. there is the music industry, fashion industry, drama industry etc. all of these sects are overseen by smart people and that is why they are successful. lollywood is the ONLY one that is overseen (mostly) by uneducated people.

as for her making a punjabi movie. LOL. pleeeease. i'm from lahore....i enjoy watching certain punjabi movies...and i love amna haq...but her making punjabi movies. oh HELL NO!!!

8 million in two months?
the album came out in late june/early july. its been on the market 5+ months. 8 million in 5 months for abrar of all people...its possible.
unlike ali zafar's album and jal's album...abrar's was released internationally with a press conference, on the same day. the album may not have been as good as his others but it did sell.
bottom line...pakistani musicians are selling albums like crazy these days. pop music is THE thing in pakistan right now.

ali zafar and jal had debut albums. even tho they are successful they don't have the name abrar does. he has 10+ years of hard work behind him. 8 million albums is nothing for him.
billo sold 16 million mal-o-mal 10 million and now nachan odhay naal with 8 million. its very believeable.

yaar, it isnt even the girls dancing. my problem is with the video itself: no concept, no storyline, nothing. it was stupid. just a bunch of girls prancing around fakhir, and then he decides to join them. lol. HOMO. lol
ali zafar's video has girls dancing too (in what seems 2 be a club) but its done tastefully.
and i agree with ur last point. jab itnay achay directors pakistan mein hain, why go to india? like i said...fakhir has made them look bad too now. lol.
